Installation method and precautions

1. Indoor installation: LED light belt is relatively simple for indoor installation, because it does not have to withstand wind and rain. During installation, the sticker on 3M double-sided adhesive surface on the back of the light strip can be removed directly, and then the light strip can be fixed at the place where it needs to be installed and flattened. If the corner or the light strip is too long or too short, the LED light strip can be cut or welded at each group of tangent lines marked with scissors.

2. Outdoor installation: because outdoor installation will withstand the wind and rain, 3M glue cannot be used for fixation, so the way of fixing the outdoor installation is often used to clamp the groove, where cutting and connection are needed. The method is the same as indoor installation, but additional waterproof glue is needed to consolidate the waterproof effect of the connection point.

3. Power connection method: the general voltage of LED slide is DC 5V, so it needs to use switch power supply. The size of power supply depends on the power and connection length of LED slide.

4. Controller connection mode: LED running light belt and RGB full color light belt need to use controller to achieve variable effect, and the control distance of each controller is different, generally speaking, the control distance of simple controller is 10 to 15 meters, the control distance of remote controller is 15 to 20 meters, and the longest can be controlled to 30 meters. If the connection distance of LED light strip is long, and the controller can't control such a long light strip, then the power amplifier is needed for tapping.
